The MPAA has rated Expelled -- No Intelligence Allowed PG for thematic material, some disturbing images and brief smoking.

Synopsis:

He wrote speeches for US Presidents. He hosted game shows. Now Ben Stein is taking on academia in this blistering documentary that seeks to understand why scientists and teachers who have discussed intelligent design (or the creation theory) are suddenly out of work.

Content Information:

At this time, we only have the official content information from the MPAA rating noted above. However, other reviewers have noted the use of mild expletives and photos of dead bodies piled on top of each other at a Nazi concentration camp.

Of Special Note:

Opinions are weighing in hot and heavy on this movie. On the conservative side, L. Brent Bozell's comments from the Conservative Communications Center can be read here. Also, Focus on the Family's Plugged In media website has a review.

On the "left" side, perhaps the keystone writing is this blog from University of Minnesota biologist PZ Myers, a devout atheist and critic of Intelligent Design, who was ordered to not attend a publically promoted screening of Expelled in Minneapolis.
