Synopsis:
During WW II, American troops invaded the island of Iwo Jima, which was under the guard of a Japanese army general (played by Ken Watanabe). Based on the book Picture Letters From Commander-In-Chief by Tadamichi Kuribayashi, this movie tells the story of the battle from the Japanese perspective.
