Synopsis: Who ever said, "Words can never hurt you," hadn't seen Lions For Lambs. Here, their power and influence eventually draws together the fates of various people, including a lecturing university professor (Robert Redford), two of his students (Derek Luke and Michael Pena) who follow his council to change the world by enlisting in the war in Afghanistan, and an ambitious senator (Tom Cruise) who baits a journalist (Meryl Streep) into using her pen as a sword in his political fight.
