Violence: A person’s hand is bloodily cut. There are self-inflicted injuries, including a DIY tooth extraction. There are several scenes of peril that take place in a fantastical context. There are on-screen images and verbal mentions of suicide and suicide attempts. Blood runs from a bed and on to the floor. A scar is seen on a person’s back. There is a supernatural apparition. The movie features intense emotions and a pervasive sense of dread.
Sexual Content: There’s mention of a woman’s breasts in terms of clothing. There is an intense psychological relationship between two women, with strong lesbian overtones.
